Dear Participants,
It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the jubilee 25th Polish Conference of Chemical and Process Engineering, an event bringing together researchers, academics, and industry experts from across the country and beyond. The conference takes place in Krakow from September 20 to 23, 2026, providing a platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experience within the field.
The Polish Conference of Chemical and Process Engineering has a long-standing tradition, beginning with its first edition in 1957 in Osieczna, organized by the Silesian University of Technology. Over the years, the conference has returned to the Małopolska region several times, with the Cracow University of Technology serving as host in 1972, 1992, and 1998. We are especially proud to continue this tradition by organizing the jubilee 25th edition in Krakow.
Chemical and process engineering is a dynamic and evolving field, playing a crucial role in addressing societal needs and supporting diverse industries, from chemicals, energy and materials production to pharmaceuticals and environmental protection. It constantly adapts to new challenges and develops innovative solutions for critical issues affecting both the environment and the economy. The conference will showcase the latest research, technological advancements, and practical applications that reflect the changing character of the field, demonstrating its essential contribution to sustainable development, industrial progress, and societal well-being. The jubilee edition provides an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences, foster new collaborations, and discuss current developments and future directions in chemical and process engineering. We are pleased to bring together the scientific and professional community in Krakow for this special occasion and to celebrate the continued development and importance of chemical and process engineering.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee
